Chloroparaffins
Chlorinated paraffins (CPs) are complex mixtures of polychlorinated n-alkanes. They have been produced since the 1930s and have found many applications, such as polymer additives, lubricants, paints and flame retardants. The chemical stability and physical properties of CPs makes them suitable substitutes for PCBs. Many CPs are classified as persistent organic pollutants with a high potential for bioaccumulation. They have been detected in a wide variety of environmental and animal samples with concern on the risks to animal and human health.
We are pleased to offer a range of reference standards and mixes to aid the highly demanding analysis of CPs.
